What’s the thickness of this mat?
12 mm (0.5″) for the everyday tier, or 25 mm (1″) for the Ultra Thick tier. Both are independently tested to EN 1177:2018 for impact attenuation — the 0.5″ to a 0.6 m critical fall height and the 1″ to a 1.0 m critical fall height. The 12 mm sits flush against skirting boards and under furniture; the 25 mm gives a plusher under-knee feel for crawlers, yoga, and toddler tumbling.
How do I clean it?
Damp microfiber cloth and a drop of mild dish soap. Because the mat is interlocking 24-inch tiles (fewer seams than puzzle mats), there are no crevices where liquid or debris can hide. Air-dry flat. Avoid bleach, steam, and abrasive scrubbers.

How does it compare to a tile play mat?
Tile mats (Toddlekind, Skip Hop, etc.) interlock from 4 to 13 pieces. Every seam is a crevice where milk, food, dust, and mould accumulate over months — invisible to surface wipe-downs. Interlocking 24-inch tiles mean fewer seams than small puzzle mats. Wipe one surface, clean the entire mat.
